Reed Elsevier NV has a two-tier Board structure comprising a Supervisory Board of nine members, all of whom are independent non-executives, and an Executive Board of three members.

The Executive Board is responsible for the management of the company and the Supervisory Board oversees the work of the Executive Board.

The members of the Supervisory Board are Anthony Habgood (Chairman), Mark Elliott, Lisa Hook, Marike van Lier Lels, Robert Polet, David Reid, Lord Sharman and Ben van der Veer.

The Executive Board comprises Erik Engstrom, Chief Executive Officer, Mark Armour, Chief Financial Officer and Andrew Prozes.
