International organisation Humanity in Action has honoured Henry Z. Horbaczewski, Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Reed Elsevier Inc., in a ceremony held on 11 April 2011 in New York City.

Humanity in Action is dedicated to the education and development of students and young professionals, and is committed to protecting minorities and promoting human rights.

This award recognises Henry for his continued involvement with, and outspoken support of, the rule of law. His efforts have helped champion human rights and advance democracy and judicial reform.
